Secret Delivery - a flash fiction story
Diane, a chronically ill sculptor, arrives home one evening to find a mysterious brown box on her doorstep. With her overactive imagination, and the unsettling memory of something strange that happened the previous evening, she’s faced with a dilemma – be brave and open the box herself, or call the cops. What will she do? And what could possibly await her inside this secret delivery?
This was my first foray into flash fiction (stories under 1,000 words), and I was thrilled when Spark Flash Fiction emailed me to acquire it for their Fall 2024 issue, Love In Disguise.
